| Product Description | Special-purpose fire extinguisher is UL Listed to 711A (residential cooking equipment) and meets NFPA 10. Tested on oils commonly used in kitchen, the proprietary nozzle design minimizes the chance of oil splashing because it gently dispenses in a 5' arc instead of a straight stream like traditional fire extinguishers. Broad, dispersed discharge of agent provides a high-volume, low-velocity delivery of dry chemical. The single-use fire extinguisher contains 2.5 lb. of fire extinguishing agent. This nontoxic agent - sodium bicarbonate - is similar to baking soda so it won't damage your stove and makes clean up easy. The pressure gauge allows immediate pressure status check. The safety pin is easy to pull. Nylon handle is rust-resistant and impact-resistant. Powder-coated aluminum cylinder is lightweight and corrosion-resistant. Fire extinguisher also includes a UL approved wall hanger made of sturdy plastic. |
